Text Box: 4-H is a fun and educational program for youth and adults sponsored by the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension.

Text Box: Members range in age from 8-18. This is based on your age as of January 1st of the calendar year. There is also a program called Collegiate 4-H for college age students.

Text Box: 4-H’s motto is “To make the best better” but we also like to describe ourselves with “4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills,” a phrase actually developed by 4-H youth across the country.

Text Box: In Holt County, there is a $6.00 enrollment fee due by March 1st, to the 4-H Council Treasurer. This minimal cost helps cover the purchase of 4-H educational materials and awards. Individual clubs may have dues associated with membership.
