KATE HARPER started Kid Quote Greeting Cards in 1994 with the dedication of encouraging children to write, create, imagine and offer us a fresher view of our world. If you are under the age of 12 and have a quote you would like to share, check this out! Quotes are published twice a year. Deadlines for submissions are February 1 and September 1. Submissions that miss one deadline will be pooled into the next deadline. IF CHILD'S SUBMISSION IS SELECTED, THEY WILL RECEIVE a cash award, name credit (Author's name will be printed on the card), free greeting cards, and with the parent's permission, press releases will be sent to child's local newspaper. Submission ideas must have been originated by child (either written or spoken), and not from any other published source. |
